Freddie’s foray…

…into local governnment as a councillor will be documented on this page.

Freddie Bailey, aged 22, was elected as a councillor for College ward in May 2018. He will serve for a minimum of one year – there are to be further elections in 2019.

Following his election WIPCUT wrote to Freddie:-

On 8 May, congratulating him on his election and asking him to deal with the breach of an Abatement Notice at a property within College ward. An Abatement Notice is a Notice issued by the Council requiring someone causing a nuisance, for example by generating dust during building works, to stop causing the nuisance.

Freddie ignored the letter.
